I also have a Equinox 900. I’m getting a lot more finds and a whole lot less EMI issues. I enjoy it much more than my Simplex.

My 800 seems to handle EMI fairly well. I was directly under some power lines. I had to noise cancel frequently but I did pull some clad.

Great review man! I absolutely love my 900.. I'm probably close to a hundred hours on it myself... There was many points you made this video I do agree on. the EMI issue.. I think it's because the 900 is lot more sensitive (which is awesome) I detect the beach mostly and run at about 23 on my sensitivity when I get into a spot like 5G or wires. I lower the sensitivity but I found out that machine is so sensitive you can drop it down to like you know 17 or 18 and that usually solves the problem.. I can't guarantee it's going to stop but usually gets pretty quiet but you still can hit targets at a real good depth. with that I don't think it picks them up as well because the field shrinks but if you don't swing fast in those areas you'll hit your target 🎯 best machine since my whites TDI 🏴‍☠️ g.l h.h
