Hi MG good vid as always and love your effort and humour. When you do a vid are you able to tell us why you choose to work the particular area? Eg In this vid you said the ground was natural and untouched. So what made you choose this spot? Either way, the soil is a beautiful red colour which is a great sign.

Hi Derek, thanks mate glad you liked it. Many areas pretty much show the signs of potential gold bearing material. But this spot was the similarities between another ridge which outcropped the same material. Oh yeah very warm grounds as well. Lovely reds hey mate, great question.

That piece at 26:30 (ish) looks like a "Sea Horse" amazing (w/big part up), that's a keeper! Have you tried any "Mosquito netting cover" for your face (attached to the hat rim, covers face & neck!)?? Awesome hunt MLG... I really need to step up my game. My claim is in a National Forest with about 1200 acres surrounding it. No other active claims. My boots on the ground found some high bench in 3 layers up the side of "My Mountain" and I have Sapphires too...ssooo, yeah. Sent me a couple nuggets he found detecting and sent a sample bag to me. I just bought the 14 Elite. Is there a "sweet spot" on the coil for pinpointing?

Hi Billy, well done mate. Yeah usually its around the edge and maybe 1 inch inwards, best way for you to check is just have it running and use a bird shot and take it around the coil from outside to in and find that spot. Sometimes Coiltek sticker is a good spot. But I generally use the left side because I mostly sit the coil on the right side. Hope that helps and good luck

@@MinelabGold fires aren't good but there are ways to grab the 'monoatomic' gold dust. I'm not saying I'm right because I'm not experienced but it's like, universal. The dust sticks to bubbles. If you froth it up in foam and collect it like from the top of the container, you can dry it and burn it. The only way, greenly, is to catch the smoke in a series of chambers of water. Carbon capture uses a shower to max the surface area. It could be steam. The fuel should be sun. Zeroo pollution is possible.

Hi Manny, Just weighed that chunky Lead for you - hah 9.50g - funny story, had 12 targets all within 2 feet circle, the one in the middle I dug first nice piece of gold, all sounded great below the surface, next 11 targets all odd shaped pieces of lead. Amazing sometimes.
