Idea: Fiber optic cable does not only transfer data very efficiently, but also sound, / frequencies - technology allows for these frequencies like footsteps, digging, blasting , dogs , bears , anything which would otherwise never be detected , to be identified up to 160km from a single TerraSence Device, accurate to .05m it works by being laid like a cable but without trunking and very shallow, anything approaching on the horizon is immediately detected based on the vibration signature,, even the caliber of a gun can be identified quickly and you cant even see it;s there. imagine holding a ipad, and being aware of everything that touches the ice, snow , ground.. and water - works underwater as well and looks like fishing line. I had a though in 2020 if a fiber cable (thin , light) with intelligence capable of the above in a horizontal application , what if you run it down a deep narrow hole on the far edge of the parameter where looking for minerals, wont even need an explosive in the center - dry ice in a clean paint can, add some water,close the lid, tied to a stone and chuck it in the sea - boom = sound-wave - ice thickness, density, calculated by sensors based on the vibrations constantly analyzed in real time without anyone even knowing, and also in no danger cause you know where all the wolfs are , and bears and other teams , and the coast guard and the Japanese as well as terrain layout..and the sound of your plane if you need to scramble..none of my business, I see tech that will fit like a glove in this application, it might even save lives - www.terrasense.ca/our-product
