This dress was one of the first sewing makes I made. I loved making the skirt. It’s a good, basic skirt pattern.

The pattern is also available in 20w to 28w that's the one I'm doing. I started earlier this year, part of some dressmaking lessons I was doing but for various reasons I had to pause those and now the place no longer is doing dressmaking lessons. So now the days are getting shorter I'm back to it. Although I have made skirts before I only made one dress, which I will admit, being mostly self taught I had to bodge a bit, I got there in the end a bit different to the pattern but it came out wearable. That's why I decided to take lessons, to get things right and help when needed. Now I hope with guidance of this video I can finish it and gain confidence
