Thank you for a brilliant video, your one of my favourite Minerva demonstrators, a lovely calm clear voice and no annoying music in the background, I was also impressed you turned the volume off whilst using the sewing machine. I also like that you call us “Makers” 👏☘️💚🙏

Thank you for a really helpful tutorial. I am making up a coat using this Simplicity pattern at the moment and, as a beginner who has been sewing only a few months, the video has helped me to understand the pattern much more quickly and some of the terminology and techniques used. Feel very fortunate to have this as a learning aid. I’m looking forward to seeing the result.

HATE the term "makers" - sounds like Mafia
@andreabush1742 Жыл бұрын
don’t be mean.
@ErikaMeyer Жыл бұрын
@@andreabush1742 Not mean, honest. It seems like the term "maker" started to appear around 2014 or 2015 as a way to refer to someone who makes crafts, but I think something else is behind it. I think the word has crime-based origins and undertones, and I think that etymology is deliberate. Convince me otherwise.

I love the term Makers💚if you go back in time many words have very different meanings, it’s not that long ago gay meant happy, peace and love🙏

@@hannahcoleman2940 Apparently the fact that the channel itself is called "Minerva" totally went over my head.
