I’m still Forrest-Gumping my way but thoroughly enjoying it. And your content! Hope when I get to mining that deep I can still get away with leaving a couple of blocks of water at the bottom so I can just free-fall to the bottom and not peg😆

You need about a third of the fall distance to be water to survive. It's probably a little less, but still a lot. In Minecraft you only need a waterlogged chest.

nice video, i kinda want to give another go with minetest and make a server for me and my friends, im doing something of the sort already with the "Better Than Adventure" mod for minecraft beta and its been quite a good ride

I have no idea how mese is supposed to be pronounced. I thought it was how you said it, but I haven't heard many people say it. It was named after an instant messenger app though.

Do you not play on a server? (I say Mese with a long e in the middle, just like you do. It just makes sense since an e at the end with only one consonant separating it from a vowel usually produces the long vowel sound and silent e. I have heard it pronounced Mes-E, similar to how you pronounce Messi the professional football player's name.)

I think a bright night mod might be helpful for dark areas. It's nearly impossible to see on the video.

I could set my gamma from the menu settings, but Bright Night doesn't help for block light, only moonlight.

i think you should install a mod called animalia it's pretty nice BTW I pronounce mese as me-ace

You should cerainly install dfcaverns to make underground more interesting. Also I recommend adding mesebox and void_chest for storage
