"Minglewood Blues" (written by Noah Lewis; first recording by Cannons Jug Stompers, Memphis 01.30.1928 - Yazoo 1082/3) performed by an improvised jam ensemble of three different New Orleans Street Bands on Royal Street, NOLA. Recorded on March 9th, 2012.
Thanks to Aldo Vila, we know that "there're four bands playing together (at least part of them) , The Sluetown Strutters, Yes Ma'am, Drunken Catfish Ramblers and Tuba Skinny. I miss this so much. When I lived in the Quarter, I lived at the far end of Royal, near Esplanade, and had to walk to Canal every day to go to work. I would leave 2 hours early just to be able to stop and enjoy the music on the way.

I actually do not know what the typewriter does on the scene, but I can guess that it was intended as a rythmic instrument in some other tracvks played by the band before or after the tune I recorded.
