Extra is the way to go! I’m building up my sketches listos by little and adding a bit more detail in the next sketch! It’s really helping me build up that skill. I love the idea of filling in with marker on a separate page and gluing it in I didn’t think of that until you told me. So creative!

i think instead of using sticker paper or thicker sketchbook paper, you can just scan the artwork and you'll still have the original! less bulk in your journal, too! something i picked up from Plant Based Bride. obvi, scanning may alter the image, but color correcting before printing won't hurt!

This might be a dumb question, but what happens if you use Ohuhu's on copy paper? If you're pasting it in a journal, it wouldn't matter if they bleed, unless the paper frays with layers. At first, it looked like you were using copy paper, until you told us. Very cute images. I am frustrated with the weird look water color markers make with streaks, but they don't bleed. Conundrums of life, heh. I have the 60 set of ohuhu's, but that pastel set is good. I've never tried them on copy paper.

@@kaylenedawnbuteaufitnessbu2282 not a dumb question! you’re completely right, in my experience you could technically use copy paper but it’s relatively thin so if you layered with markers it would fray the paper. which is why i like sticker paper or thicker mixed media paper, anything over 150gsm is a good place to start :)
