@ Most years you are correct. Stephen A as well. But there are those situations that do happen. Just as we see teams desperate for a QB trade back , due to the fact that they can get 1 of the 3 QB targets on their list by moving back several slots. And then there are teams like Jacksonville for example. Top 5 pick with a QB that shows he can play. But needs weapons in a major way. Say if the Jags are picking 3rd overall. And let’s say the Giants are #1 . Would Jacksonville not want nothing more than the best weapon to complement their QB? Would the Giants not want nothing more than another low 3rd round pick to move back a couple of slots and still get their QB they wanted? Not only that. But I’m sure playoff Caliber teams with a QB would be willing to trade a hell of a lot more than just a 3rd round pick to move to 1 and snag the most talented playmaker in the Draft. Especially to a team like the Giants that need many positions desperately filled. And can still get one of their listed QB’s mid to late 1st round.
