Mini 3 Pro vs Zino Mini Pro - best beginner drones 2022

We've got our hands on the DJI Mini 3 Pro and we take it out to Sprotbrough Falls to test it out against the Zino Mini Pro. New features include obstacle avoidance, larger 1/1.3" camera sensor, HDR, 4K60 video recording. Mastershots. Hyperlapse. The list goes on. Oh and it's also one of the best beginner drones 2022 as is the Zino Mini Pro.

I guess a lot of folks don't know you can pick up a 2019 LG g8 think renewed for around$150 US or just about any LG right around that time all have extremely nice oled 564ppi super fine detailed high res view screens. Adjustable settings etc for resolutions and yes (not the G8s has to be original g8 for 564ppi or some later models but..not all later models) have that resolution and the required Arm processer quad core 64bit operating system. I know for sure the g8 works great, I own that one. Pretty much everything from it and later except the g8s(lower screen res like 534ppi but not noticeable difference and otherwise equal + performance just check the specs on whatever you are looking at) Thanks for sharing this, well done. I'm still plenty pleased with the mini2 for now myself, but someday I'll upgrade for sure. Happy flying all.

Yeah hopefully they will extend the controller to other DJI drones such as the Mini 2 which I’m sure they could do. Mini 2 is a great drone and like you said there are some good deals for android devices out there.

On the hubsan App inside joystick settings (or something like that) you can change the Yaw speed (I think it says "Heading speed", and I found it to be much better using a value of 50% instead of the default 100%, you can try even less like 30%.. this will limit the yaw speed when using normal flight mode (not sport or film). I also found that reducing the vertical speed limit (also on the same screen) will reduce the probability of jello that occurs mostly when coming down at full speed. What video mode were you using on the Zino Mini Pro? From my previous tests I found out that best video mode (details etc) is using the "Natural" without HDR (not "Sunny Day" or Moire Off").

Yes you can set all those settings to improve to your preferences. I was using out of the box settings to show how it would be for someone just starting out with it. I think all these drones need tweaking but the picture quality is pretty nice out of the box on both I think.

I have the husband zino mini se refined i find the video a bit glitchy your pro looks the same they to get hot underneath to still a great drone love mine.

Hard to compare if you NEVER film the sky with the Mini Pro 3.

Yeah I think I will have a look at doing something like that. The conditions changed partway through the filming too but I was surprised that the Zino Mini Pro seemed to be picking up more detail in the water. The Mini 3 Pro however was making cloudier conditions look brighter than expected.

My complain about Zino Mini Pro Is the horizon that Is Always tilted. It seems that It can't handle turns on yaw axis specially when they are fast. Starting from a levelled status, horizon get more and more tilted as you turn on yaw axis. I contacted Hubsan support, so I used Hubsan gimbal calibration tool and then advanced gimbal calibration, buy no joy.

Yeah the Zino is definitely not a bad drone for me. I haven't really had any issues with it apart from obstacle avoidance but you need to calibrate it. No issues with signal loss on the Mini 3 Pro either.

Zmp is a great drone at 1/2 the price of a mini 3 .Flys great ,takes great shots but does need updating often to keep everything good .I honestly believe it's only going to get better .The reason the camera only works once airborne is because of the heat generated when stationary get a bit too hot and displays cpu not temps

Yeah I think Hubsan dropped the ball a bit with that as it’s a pain and no other mainstream drones have that issue. People have said it was because they had to use lesser quality chips. Still a good drone overall though for the money.

I think the reason it went to the side is cause you’ve got your landing pad on a slope and if it goes up at right angles from the ground it would be going sideways so anyway you should try and get your landing pad as flat as possible

It was pretty flat in real life. Slightly raised by grass but the drone didn’t slip it just landed on the edge of the pad which isn’t easy to see from the video.

If you are considering purchasing a Hubsan drone (including the Zino Mini Pro) the primary factor you need to consider isn’t camera quality or cost. It is customer service. From my personal experience, Hubsan customer service is awful. So, when buying your next drone, please add the customer service factor…you won’t be sorry.

I can’t really say I’ve had to contact customer service. The drones I’ve had from hubsan have been ok for me but appreciate others may have issues. The issues I’ve had have been software and generally sorted themselves out after a restart etc.

I've not experienced any crashes myself. It's been solid for me. No issues really.

very good video nice and clear picture, but i think I'm going to stay with my typhoon H plus.
