Hi Sophie, what you need to remember is, there are probably hundreds of young mothers who watch your videos and see your Instagram and think that they wish they could be as together as YOU. you always look very 'put together' and you have an energetic youngster, a busy You Tube channel, not to mention all the household stuff too. You are smashing it my love, don't think that all those people you see on social media are always so 'together' 100% of the time, trust me, they WON'T be, they will also have the same insecurities as ALL of us! Someone being their true authentic self is so beautiful and this is why I love your channel. I’m a 26 year old mum of a 3 year old. I suffer with chronic pelvic pain because of endometriosis and mental health because of it. Your channel brings me so much peace. It brings my better side of me out, I remember I’m a mum of a toddler. I dreamt of having this exact life for so long (although it is so tough 🤣) but I am greatful for this life. We all have hard days but we need to all be gentle on ourselves. I much prefer watching channels with creators keeping it real. It makes me feel HUMAN. It’s okay at times to not be okay and not be put together. You are such a beautiful and gentle lady that It would be so lovely if the world had more people like you ❤

If you are after very authentic you tubers I recommend the following 2 ladies.... Ria...Ria Suzanne who is a lovely stay at home mum. She is such a positive person. Even when times are tough she picks herself up, no self pity, just thankful for what she has. The 2nd youtuber Claire ... Mum life & more. Claire is in many ways the opposite of Ria. She is the glass is 1/2 empty type of person, rather insecure and creates a lot of stress for herself. But she is real. One thing I'd say is if you're having a down day I would avoid watching her videos.

Hi Sopherina, I've watched a few of your videos now and I've subscribed to your channel today. I always make my own jackets potatoes the same way as yourself but I batch cook them and allow them to cool and put them in a container and freeze them. When we are going to have a jacket we take out what we want and pop it in the microwave if frozen for about 3 minutes and then the air fryer for about 5 to 10 minutes. Much, much cheaper than the shop bought frozen ones. I have a few tins of black beans and I will be trying your chilli dish for sure. You are a beautiful young lady and you keep it real. No one is always picture perfect no matter how they portray themselves. I am 56 and I have major health problems that causes chronic pain, mobility issues and exhaustion, I am a mum to 2 sons who I raised on my own and I was also a full time carer for my dad until he passed away. I ran two homes and I tried my best to alwys look presentable. If ever I let myself go a little too much my dad would tell me in his own sweet way. Life isn't all about being perfect. The most important thing is being a good mum and you seem to be so in my opinion. Yes take time out for self care because it is important for you but don't judge yourself against others and worry about other people's view of you. You are great just the way you are. Something I have always told my boys is be true to yourself and great others in the way you wish to be treated. As long as your husband and yourself are fine with the way you look then that's what matters. You are all healthy as a family and your son is gorgeous. Kind regards Angeline 🤗 xx

I absolutely love your channel because it’s so real! Make up or no make up, dishes in the background, not always an ideal set scene, these are the things I love about your channel? There are so many other “perfect” channels but they get boring after a while. You and your family are so relatable, I especially love when you have a little chat with us while cooking etc. please do not change it, and don’t feel under any pressure to glam up. Sophie you are gorgeous just as you are, love more real content and love less edited stuff too. I was a stay at home Mum for years and loved it too, got very involved in my community and volunteered in my kids school for different things, made lifelong friendships through doing that. Back working now my kids are older but look back at those days as a golden time for me and know how lucky I was to be able to have that choice at that time. Had to live quite frugally at the time to do it,hence I enjoy all your budgeting challenges.

Take care of yourself lovely ❤ The whole Ultra Processed Food narrative is everywhere at the moment - just remember, you eat a wonderful balance of homecooked meals and fresh produce, and so supermarket bread within the context of that (even daily!) is more than okay. If you were eating pre sliced white bread for all meals, and not getting fibre of micronutrients elsewhere, THAT’S when it’s an issue - but fearing convenience foods like breads does more harm than good in my opinion (also, the scientific literature behind the headlines is far more nuanced! Even the BDA and British Nutrition Association have released statements saying the current classification of UPF is far too broad, and things like supermarket bread, wraps, beans, cereals, fortified plant milks are all beneficial and safe) x

I agree with this. There is nothing wrong with buying pre packaged bread and it can definitely be part of a healthy balanced diet. Not many people will be in a position to make everything from scratch nor do they need to and most registered Dietitians are in agreement with this. Thank you for commenting as I worry that more people will start fearing more and more foods and it can cause more stress and anxiety for people unnecessarily.

Sophie, you are talking about me 60 odd years ago. I felt I was less than others in every way. I wasn't, of course, but that's how I felt. I've always thought you very, very pretty. A fantastic mum, etc. But after saying that, it matters not what others think. It took me emigrating to Australia at 35 to realise that I was ok. Australians, unlike the English, don't judge you on how you look etc etc. You are a beautiful wife and mother be happy in your own skin remember that those on tiktok and instagram have made themselves up for that and you don't know what they look like after a day's hard work with a toddler, cooking and housework. ❤

Everyone i follow is real, i cant stand to watch those that vlog perfect lives, perfect homes or perfect appearance. I want to ve able to relate and alit of the time i dont comment but i felt you needed to hear that i personally havecwatchef you for years way before your pregnancy way before lawrence was seen so much too. When you were just finding your feet online and you mostly just vlogged your shopping hauls etc. you were my go to aldi shop watch, plus ive always loved your special food testing vlogs with lawrence especially the christmas one, i personally watch your chridtmas food videos before buying any buffet stuff for christmas because if you or lawrence dont like it then usually my household wont either. Loving the food videos they have grown over the years and enjoy your chat videos too. So dont worry about appearances thats not what matters, take care and remember real beauty should always be what a person is like on the inside not on the outside. 😊

This is the first time I’ve come across you in years. You seem to have a very happy life. One can’t ask for more than that in life. People on the internet show you just a side of themselves. EVERYONE HAS ISSUES. I cant watch people putting on makeup or eating. Why would I waste my precious time on earth watching people do those things?If people had something interesting to teach others that would make good content but there is too much foolishness on the internet. Hi Sophie, I’m similar age to you I have a 2 year old and another on the way so I’m always under dressed and look crap with no makeup and hair around the front literally sticking up like I’ve been electrocuted. I took the decision around a year ago that I was going to post pictures of me and my daughter regardless of what I look like because in years to come I would rather see pictures of us together (and I will probably think I didn’t look as bad as I thought) than have no photos. It really is easier said than done but quite empowering once you do it and think sod it….if people aren’t looking at this picture thinking how gorgeous my girl is and scrutinising me it’s actually a them problem! Be you no matter how you come, beauty is in the eye of the beholder xx

I be honest if you didn’t have that snotty sleeve or a slap back frizzy hair or little man running round playing I be honest I wouldn’t follow you I don’t do all people who are fake as that make feel like crap, but been real in your self has people like me a mum who has a slap back hair snotty sleeve and quick nice meal then I would have you in my home any day for cupper.
