Watching you run those thin metal rods for the shooting assembly through the wire wheel and then the cloth polishing wheel brought flashbacks for me. Just after graduating high school, I worked at a place that made custom antique style scrolled metal ice cream parlor chairs and tables. I worked in the polishing department. Having to hit the welded joints with files and then run the entire chair/table frame through the wire wheel before nickel, chrome or even gold plating and then having to maneuver the entire frame through the cloth polishing wheel was a trick. It took a little while to master it and when I first started, there were times when the frames caught in the wheel, which was running at 3,000 rpm. Nothing is more frightening than an entire chair or table frame being ripped out of your hands and spin back at you. The 2nd time it happened to me, the chair spun back and hit me in an area you don't want to be hit. I threw up twice before passing out. I woke up as the paramedics were arriving. An overnight stay in the hospital, a week off work and I was right as rain. Albeit, a LOT more careful after that. Lol

One of the unexpected joys of these videos are the JB Weld mixes. Everyone loves sandblasting, I'm particularly fond of watching the powder coat bake, but seeing the fast motion mix of black and white goop into grey is astonishingly good.

Amazing, thanks so much for that! I remember playing a game similar to this as a kid in the early 70s. The board was warped so the ball might roll back to your "shooter" or to the other player's. We used pingpong balls. The electric football board was for weekends LOL

The craftsmanship on this is amazing and the restoration done really well. I'm a little mixed on this though as it had so much character to it being aged the way it had and for what was still original, it could have been made from new metal, using the old as a template and then had an old and new version. The new being a tribute to the original.

The peeling of the tape is the best sound in this video alongside the painting spray nozzle and sandblaster. I wasn’t a fan of hearing the metal scratch or scrape but other than that it was good 🙂 seeing things get painted and then baked in the oven and peeled was awesome.

Kind of annoying that this channel, where the content creator clearly works for his stuff is so underrated, yet other channels, where the "restoration" is barely a thing, get tons more views. YT's algorithm is effed up.

@xMrsmileyfacex3 жыл бұрын
Let me answer that for you from a viewer of many asmr restoration channels. You need content content content and MORE CONTENT. Tho ONTD does good work and he clearly does, he only has 7 videos since July of last year and the last video before this was in January this year. Content sir keeps you up front and in the eyes of people like me. I know nothing of ONTD or his schedule so he may only be able to come out with one every so often but that is why he's underrated. I hope this helps.

great video, it seems like it's over but it keeps going ! i was impressed at your tiny nets, really amazing ! also a great trick for 3D printed objects, is to put them in an enclosed space with a container of Acetone, the fumes will fill the space and smooth out the printing lines of your objects, i think i saw that from a guy making custom chess pieces or something.

A trick I'm not sure you'll need anytime soon but might help out is using fishing line/some sturdy string along with tape to create an easy cut border on tough coatings. Don't know about powder coating but bedliner cuts off really nice yanking on the string and tearing off the paper edges
