Mini Bike Death Machine

This is a mini bike which I went from a 97cc stock engine to a 212cc engine from Harbor Freight. Did some custom engine mount and changed the centrifical cluth. This is not for kids ! This is one BAD ASS Mini Bike now. The power is amazing ! Will make even the hardcore adrenline junkie turn white. Enjoy !

An exact replica of a mini bike I won at a quick stop raffle on November 1st, 1968 at eight years old. A real gem. No suspension, very little braking, top speed about 25 miles per hour. 51 years later, I have owned 37 motorcycles, both on and off road and enjoyed many good times as a rider and racer. This thing is what got me started. I like it.

I’m still cracking up and can’t stop laughing. I bought a new mini bike that didn’t start from kid down the street back in ‘65. I was 10 he was stupid He asked his father if it was ok to sell it to me for 5 bucks. I got it back to my house and put gas in it! It was a blast all during the summer of ‘65. Sold it to a 15 year old kid for 40 bucks. Ahhhh those were the days.

My eldest son has the exact same thing except, we put the aluminum fly wheel, big cam, springs, stage 3 carb and header. It'll run over 60 mph with me driving! Goes through clutches every so often but worth it! I make the boys put on full Motocross gear before riding it...

Stuck a 212cc right out of the box in a minibike that can now go 35, maybe 40 mph on a good day and he says: "This is a nasty minibike now" "A death machine" Literally watched the 3 minibike videos before this one, and 4 more after this one that had minibikes with the same style frame, front end, tire size, but with maxxed out upgrades on Tillotson 212cc engines making speed test runs of 69 to 84 mph. Moral of the story, some people are born to be wild, but the rest were born to be mild.

His poor son is pampered. I had a bull whip and machete when I was 10 years old. I cut cypress knees in the edge of the swamp and many other things a boy should be doing. I build a go cart when I was 10, by myself. I gathered all the parts and put it together. It had a plywood and 2x4 base with foot steering. and, yes, a B&S engine with centrifucal, (centrifugal), clutch!

Back in the 70s, a friend took one of these and put a 28hp McCullough cart engine with a centrifugal clutch into it. You at least have brakes, his had a steel drag plate on the rear tire. He had a tavern and was tired of people claiming that they could ride/drive anything. No one ever was fool enough to take a second ride. Good Times.

I used a Max-Torque SS1334 clutch on my Baja Dirt Bug Predator 212 swap. Also installed an exhaust deflector to keep the hot exhaust from messing up the finish on the rear fender and frame. Fun little mini-bike.
