Mini Braids on Relaxed Hair | Protective Style

Hi Soul friends! In this video I share with you my favorite relaxed hair protective style, Mini Braids. I show you my wash day routine for protective styles, how I prep my hair the night before and how I braid my hair. Im able to get thick looking relaxed braids because of the technique I use when Im braiding, which I explain in this video. mini braids don't have to be hard or damaging, nor do they have to be time intensive. I’ve actually never been to a hair dresser so I wouldn’t know. But my hair is kinda healthy so maybe there is truth to that 😉

Yup, because some hairstylists don't really care to know the individual hair properties of every customer that comes through their door and adjust their practice to it, unlike you, who would know things like, "my hair is fine dont use heat higher than ?°c degrees, this section of my hair is weaker than the rest etc". The good stylists that I've seen on KZbin when KZbinrs go to them, they study their clients hair and are like... "Okay, so your hair is thin density, but coarse in the strands, this part of the hair is drier because of the difference in texture" or "you have very high density hair, but that doesn't mean your hair is strong, your strands are actually fine" when a stylists starts talking like that you know they're unlikely to be that stylist that gives you heat damage by using the highest heat and 8 passes on fine strands because it worked on 70% of their previous clients. They'll usually be more expensive as well to make up for the reduction in customer count because of the attention to detail required to customise haircare.
