I gave you advice before but after you tried it you seemed satisfied, but later you did not put them in again so maybe you didn't like what I said so I did not give you additional advice. But since you mentioned shadows I will give you an expert opinion from the movie set. And that to get rid of the shadow, you need to put light. Our phrase is "light the shadows." So you put a light where you see the shadow and move the light so you no longer see the shadow. Maybe you can watch a youtube video on lighting sets. But like many have said. It's ok. This tool is neat. Reminds me of this one time I lent a camera out for a moment to take a break and went away. When I came back it was inoperational. Never lend your professional tools because you may never know if they used it hard and it burnt out something because they didn't care for like they own it.

I give you my experience with those cells. They have the printing on them the size. 18650 is the size. I believe it means length and width. Don't go for the highest mah number because there are many fakes out there. Even brand named ones. They look official but weigh them and you will know fakes are much lighter. I saw a video once someone opened one and inside was a much smaller less than half size battery inside and sawdust or powder filling the empty space. If you have bad laptop batteries those are good to buy from. They are usually Samsung or Panasonic. Nice to see you have rebuilt your battery pack. This is how dorman rebuilds their packs and you know how it is to do also like with teslas. And Chrisfix made a video of how to upgrade to the newer style battery by a company who supplies everything. I think it's worth it vs going back to OE tech from 25+ years ago. Otherwise original is usually better.

But this is what I think. You buying the spare whole battery is better. Because you know what can happen in an unbalanced pack. Fire. So just keep the spare parts of the old one and dispose of the bad cells and keep the one good one for if it happens again. And the board and case. Safer that way.
