MINI Cooper R56 Steptronic Sw 523A (Solved)

This is a 2013 MINI Cooper that had a 523A DTC in memory when we purchased the car; the code would clear with a scan tool, but would return while driving the car and the transmission would constantly shift between normal drive mode (D) and steptronic mode (DS).

Well, I've got this problem and had dealer swap out the selector lever (Gearshift Steptronic: 251030) and also a circuit board (I don't have the part #) and now the problem has returned. Sigh.

How much did you pay for the part because mini Cooper is trying to tell me 750 I'm having a similar problem my EGS switch however you pronounce it and I noticed that my Park and reverse light are both on the car drives fine
