you can take 6x9" to 6.5" Speakeradapters and install 6.5" Speaker you have a lot more choice on 6.5" speaker and same 6.5"speaker in front and rear sounds more harmonic then 6.5" front and 6x9"rear different sizes.

before you pulled the panels off for the rear seatbelts did you disconnect the battery? im worried about accidently setting off those airbags

Hi Alex, no i did not 🤭. Ya its best to disconnect the battery first b4 u remove to be safe. 👍

Nice video thanks for the tutorial one question do you know if there’s another fuse box behind the rear panel’s? Cause I saw a video where they explained that we can find de fuel pump relay in a fuse box that is located behind those panels but I’m not sure and i really don’t wanna waste my time doing all this process! unfortunately for cooper R56, i dont think there is. You need to remove all those panels to get access to the rear speakers.

Yes you just remove the seat base and the door rubber and gently pull the side panel and you can get to the speakers and use a 7 mm socket
