There have been many iconic cars in the history of motoring, all with their good points and bad. The Mini has its faults like all the others, the perfect car hasn’t been built yet ( and probably never will) I bought my three door Mini Cooper S ( exclusive model) a few months ago and have totally fallen in love. It looks awesome, sounds naughty, drives like a dream and honestly it’s the most perfect car I’ve ever owned. I’m just beginning to get to grips with the technology that it’s fitted with. Best part of owning one of these little beauties is flashing hello to others that you meet on the road. Yes you get it too! Isn’t this great

@@rivervalegroup I’m quite old so the comfort and superb styling of the interior is up there, but mostly the firm yet responsive steering and the engine noise when accelerating. Too many good points, like just looking at it when I’ve parked up somewhere,there’s very few other cars that look so cool.

@@michael5089 now 12 months and 19,000 miles later. Utterly brilliant small car. It’s just had a full service at BMW, who were exemplary. I’d actually suffered a puncture a mile from the dealership, they took the car in with a minimum of fuss, 2 days before Easter weekend. The service due to be done with a couple of weeks, they sorted out service, two new front tyres at sensible prices and valeted the car all by 4pm the same day. I’ve averaged 40 mpg overall. Nothing has broken, fallen off etc. the only other thing it’s had in a year is rear pads. A friend has a 1.5 Cooper, and the fuel economy in the S is arguably better. Overall I would recommend one. Really wanted a Mini. Even found the right one on sale. (2019, "S," 3-door, automatic, gorgeous blue paint job, black racing stripes.) Then I did my research.... I don't expect a modern-day Mini to have Toyota levels of reliability or quality. But, better than ever? Clearly the best Mini in terms of both R.&Q. is a British-made Original dating back to decades before I was born. The modern ones are horribly disappointing.

Not to mention great fuel economy has always been mini's thing. My countryman averages 27 mpg city and up to 40 mpg highway. And i have S model XD

The problem is WHY always testing the Full spec. "s", just that radio setup with 8" inch. that screen alone cost about 5000extra typical not for the avarage buyer, and the "S" engine is NOT the engine to chose, the much better 3cyl. and the "s" car cost also very much more to expensive. the problem is also the more powerfull 2 liter. is so low gear ratio and very noisy for dailyt use because of the high rpm at normal speed, the "S" model run with 2500rpm. at 100km/t.. the 1.5Liter run 1900rpm at 100km/t and still pull then you floor it i 6´th gear. from that rpm. And all that feature in the center console is very expensive and NOT standart, and only working with CrAppel phones. and only in USB wired mode.

What is it with poor people on here ? Ive got a Cooper S and its doing 38.5 average MPG. If you cant afford to put petrol in a car, you really need to sort your finances out.
