Hi. Yes, it's stock - it's there when you have GPS navigation in the middle. To be honest I would rather have that cool big-ass speedometer in the middle :) But yeah, it's more practical this way and it actually looks better when you have 2 speedometers there (the speedometer and RPMs).

Did your brakes over heat at all as they're standard? I have updated cams, 15 per cent pulley, ebc discs and yellow stuff pads so hoping that will be ok for one lap at least??

I'd love to take my 2006 R53 JCW around the ring! the last time I was there I was driving a Peugeot Partner WAV! I just need an updated intercooler and I'll be good to go!

Superb driving. What mods are there to the Mini. The exhaust, induction and pulley sound upgraded and rather nice!

Já byl i letos, opět 6 kol, ale velkej provoz a mam trochu problém s autem, tak jsem čas nezrychlil a asi už Miníka na okruhu moc trápit nebudu :) Ale pojedu tam zas na Nurburgring Driving Academy - Formel Racing Grand-Prix výcvik s formulí :) Mam tu video ze základního výcviku, byl to mazec, chci víc :D

Smoother steering needed, not do jerky, other than that a good drive.

Sure. It's filmed with GoPro HERO3 White Edition camera mounted on the right side of my helmet, 1080p 30 fps. For timing I use Trackmaster app for Android. Then you can generate a video data (CSV text file) and use RaceChrono2AVI on your PC to render that video layer with map and speed. I find it better to use this helmet mount rather than just put the camera on the windshield (the car speed seems more real this way).

Did you do anything to the car to prep it for the track? It sounds stock, do you have any mods?

Hello. Just normal preparation like oil change, tire pressures check (better to have a bit lower pressure on fronts as they get more heat), ... There should be 15 extra horse power thanks to some software mod, but I wasn't on dyno yet. Hardware is all stock.

Is your speedometer stock? Because I've never seen one placed over the steering wheel like yours.. I think it's more practical to drive, isn't it?

+danny wage That is what the first generation MINI Cooper S likes. All the power is between 4000-6000rpm. Drive it like a motorcycle or an S2000.
