I just saw a video of using this same motor and stripping it down like you did then use a 6pin dpdt switch super easy. Create a open close switch and bypass all that wiring

Ok i see you ran wires straight to the motor. But what about the switch for actually hitting the button. How was that wired? Did yu use the same switch sitting on the ground if so how did yu do that. If not, than what was the actual switch you used to run a hot and ground
