I didn't have any really chunky yarn so did it in cotton with a 3mm hook. It came out well but doesn't look as dramatic as yours. I must get some Chunky or put several yarns together next. (I don't have access to cotton yarn which is my favourite) Thank You. By the way I'm 81 yrs. old and still love crafting.

I made mine with 3 strands of 4 ply yarn, with a 4 mm hook, and it came out a good size.

yes-20 Sithes-I am new so I'm not 100% sure. But this helped my complete them and they turned out great ! *read all* (Go to setting and change the play back speed to .5 for slowed introduction ) AFTER doing some research, I found another pattern that is veryy similar, Should stay at 20 Stitches after the join(slip stitch) chain one. I put stitch markers at the end of my 20 stitches (*before i started the join* ) Slip stitch, chain 1, then into the same stitch SC 1--mark that 1 with Stitch marker. when coming to the end of the round i stop at the stitch markers and make sure i still had 20 until row 7. I hope this can help others who got a little lost. Thank you "Mini Crochet Bunny Cups" this is the pattern with similar instructions if you wanna look and video about how to join with Slip Stitch ,Chain 1 might help.

Had no bulky/chunky yarn, couldn't find my K hook, doomed from the start? I gave it go anyway with dbl strand 4 weight & a J hk. He's a little stiff and his eyes are wonky, but heck, didn't come out half bad, lol. Posted him in the FB private group. Thank you for this fun little project, and I will hunt down my K hook to try it again and see if it comes out a little less stiff.
