Back in the day, my mini was an absolute nazi when it came to guard duty. Mac is very well trained and duly restrained by contrast.

My Doxie use to do the same thing. What spooked me were the middle of the night whoofs she would do at nothing I could see. Like a ghost was there 😀. Didn’t happen very often though.
