You’re right there were fewer surprises inside but I think you underrated them on a couple points. One of your pet peeves is when the surprises aren’t on theme and all these were specific to the character. Also the notebooks gave different themed page ideas for journaling not just blank pages or one kind of layout.

I agree with you and your review. You get so little for so much. $10 is a lot for more of a novelty item that won’t actually be used a lot. And there’s an end to it when you run out of blank pages and stickers and pencil/pen. Definitely a lot to think about when considering purchasing these. We used to get so much more a few years ago. They were all so cute though. So at least there’s that.

I disagree 100%. The way I see it they made a more interesting with the design of the actual journal they put in unique features and took out a lot of that useless crap that used to be in there like a tiny ruler. It's a journal. They made it the actual journal interesting and adorable and it's for journaling.

@donnahanna10565 you are welcome to your opinion. But when the 'upgraded' journal doesn't actually do what it is designed for, it makes it pointless to add value for me. Like the confetti now working and moving seamlessly like it's supposed to. And the whole point is to have little goodies to add into the little journal. Such as working stamps, stickers and things.

@donnahanna10565 see what you described like the ruler is to add more fun to the experience, kids won’t be as engaged if all they get is some paper and a few boring stickers, adding things like stamps and stencils adds to the flexibility for a journal, not to mention journals don’t have to be just for writing, I use a lot of mine to draw in

It's kinda silly to waste a journal for just stickers but it's fun and relaxing! I'm not a journaler. I've tried but just don't have the focus. I love journals though so I use then for other things. Stickers and reading tracker is what I use them most for.

I think you might be expecting too much out if these things lol. They are for kids and technically you are mainly spending money for the fancy journal itself and they are keeping the costs down by not putting a lot of stuff inside. And also...this is technically for little kids, kids are easily placated. So yeah...I think it's fine lol.

Most times I find Jackie very hard on the diary/stationery type unboxings. However, I must agree on these. The diaries themselves are very adorable, but they should have more on the inside. Very lacking. Great job Jackie!!

Oh I forgot to say that you used to really want a cohesive theme which these all seem to have a very strong cohesive theme. Let me go buy some sparkly stickers at the dollar store. I think for $10 US this is a very cute little functional diary for anybody teens and young adults who have a bit of whimsy.

Honestly I think I can get cuter items, and way more, by spending 10 USD in a daiso… Sure they might not be mini… But it’s cuter and more value… (But depends on how much daiso prices are in your area, where I am I can get 5 items with $10 USD)

What do you expect for $10 they put so much work into the design and how cute the extra pages are in the compartment where you could put things you want to put in. I'm just losing it now I'm very salty My salt shaker is red I think you're being very unfair. You put your own box together and this is a $10 toy. I think they did an excellent job I think you're being completely unfair and and I'm not one to not call you out on it The design on the inside they could have just left blank. I mean I would like to see this company review your acrylic bear pour kit..... I love you Jackie but I just have to be honest I think you're just a little too harsh on this product. You are my absolute favorite but I'm finding it to the point where I'm watching this video right now because I think they're very cute. There's so much creativity on this stuff and putting it down because it doesn't have enough stickers. No wonder you don't endorsements I mean I think you're too hard on this kit these were the cutest ones I've ever seen and you were just picking on things and not taking into account the creativity they put into the actual project not the little crappy accessories that go along with it. Jackie I love you can't wait for your videos every week. But I'm going to have to disagree with the overall decision on these. Yes you get less stuff but most of that stuff was useless crap. They took the money and put it actually into the design of the journal with the little extra space and the pin at the top and the stamp at the top of one of them. It's actually a functional journal now. I thought you'd be happy that they actually put more money into the design of the main product and a bunch of useless crap. In other words do you want a better overall design and creativity in the journal or do you want some cheap plastic crap. I'm not trying to be salty I'm just honest well I guess that is salty❤ P.S. there's so much detail and creativity and I can't believe you keep saying nothing special.$10 American is a good price for these $9.99 I'm an American that's low.
