Mini Effect Gizmo X - Stereo and Split Mono Connections

Finally a loop switcher company that tells you how to hookup different inputs and outputs. Surprising how many of these switchers tell you about all the MIDI, programming, blah, blah, blah, but doesn't explain stereo connections...or even IF they are capable of doing stereo.

I just got 2 of these; for maximum flexibility, including using one for mono dry and the other for stereo wet. 2 quick questions: For mono pedals (assuming the same good quality of patch cables and pedals all across the board), does split mono cause any signal loss? What about for pedals with increased headroom? Awesome device! Thanks for your time!!

Split mono causes no signal loss at all, it's just changing how the jacks are routed in the audio path. The audio path runs on a +/-12V supply, so it has quite a lot of headroom, more than enough for any pedal I've encountered.

Hello Ron does the Meg have a USB port or the editor has to be accessed through midi?

Really nice functionality! Is it also possible to do split mono on the inputs and outputs, to run two separate signal chains?

No, the input and output can't be split

I recently watched the chairman of the boards episode where you talked about using the pbc 6/x as a splitter for a parallel effects rig, can this unit do the same thing? Say I wanted to come out of the MEGx and int a chorus, delay, and a reverb in loops 2, 3, and 4, into a mixer and then back into the MEGx in the loop 5 return, would that get me the effects in parallel at the output?

Yes, you can do that for sure. You could just use the mixer output as your main output and save yourself a loop, as well.

If you have a split mono loop, can you still run those 2 pedals in series with each other or you have to choose one or the other?

You can use either or both at the same time, in any order.
