Thanks for all your awesome videos! Thanks to you I have become (almost) an expert coder on my recently purchased 2018 F55 Cooper S. Since mine is a US version it has side markers on the wheel arch, and the rear ones will even turn on with DRL (the front don't) and I cannot find any codes to disable it. Any ideas or assistance you may provide! Oh, and I'm a fan from Puerto Rico!

Hey! Thank you 😊 I’m not entirely sure how to disable them from coming on with the DRLs but there should be a setting in the body domain controller (front electronic module) to turn off the US side markers. If you go into the demo mode on BimmerCode you should see it there.

@@BenRolfe trying to code the side markers. Connected my phone via Bluetooth. All is working "fine", audio is awesome, contacts downloaded, can receive and make calls. I can hear the caller but they cannot hear me!

Can i code to continue going up passenger window without holding the window button? its so annoying, driver window goes full up with just one single button press, but passenger i have to hold it...

That’s odd, on mine I can put the passenger window up by just pressing it, not holding it. Do you have an F56?

it seems that the window problem only occurs at the F56. On my F55 its rolling up also while opening the door. Maybe it was intended as a security feature on frameless windows.

hello, are the coding options of the Bimmercode app always the same or do they change depending on the type of OBD adapter (ES: veepeak, v-linker etc) ?

do you think it's possible to code the windows to always open half when you open the door as when you push the key button twice?

I think this is a comfort access feature. I’d have to look at how to enable it but if you have it enabled you should be able to press your unlock twice then open the door.

Ben not sure where else to ask but your most recent video. Do you like the way the JCW front splitters look on the Cooper S or do you wish you had done something else like a full size splitter?

Hey, with the newer models of MMI boxes you can’t connect to BimmerCode. I don’t have an issue as I have the older original model. Your best bet would be to remove it to code.

The only issue i have is bimmercode and bimmerlink is not able to enter the headunit because of my mmi box.
