hello, are the coding options of the Bimmercode app always the same or do they change depending on the type of OBD adapter (ES: veepeak, v-linker etc) ?

Hi Ben Where do you get the expert bimmercode info from, I want to turn on the instrument lights all the time as I find them to dark. The expert mode is a load of code speak so if you don’t know the settings you haven’t a chance of knowing what to change thanks.

When pulling the plate off can i just replace the cigarette socket or do i have to remover more parts? Because in my car something inside of it broke… thanks if you can answer 👍🏻

Can you alter the brightness of the drl's?

I'd redo it too if I seen that much chrome showing. Just gotta line it up straight and tuck it close to the top edge as possible. Ease off on the heat gun or else it'll shrink too much... As for the front trim piece around the hood, just remove it off the car and do it. Good job. Only takes a minute or to remove it.

Hi Ben, thought I’d ask if you’ve had any further issues with your F56? I’ve had my F56 cooper S for about a year now… pro exhaust kit and JCW Tuning kit 👍 I’ve been told to not worry about the F56 engine as it’s “generally” very reliable but mine is coming up to 50,000 miles… what’s your current thoughts?

Hi Ben, how did you manage to code the head unit with a car play unit installed? When I click ignore head unit I don’t get the option to code it but if I don’t ignore head unit then the app won’t connect

Can you help, my rear light trim is dechromed and it isn't clipped on properly, I took it off and noticed the teeth that it clips into one of them is broken most likely due to someone or the previous owner pulling it off aggressively. Where can I buy the part what is the part called , my trim is ok it's just the part that holds the light with the teeth I need or can I just use bluetac

I have just managed to do this without detaching the grill surround and removing the honeycomb grill. I spent sooo long trying to get the clips released I gave up and went straight for the 16 grill strip clips. It can be done.

Those clips are a CUNT. I can't even get the cowl off let alone the grill trim. Can't I just use a Dremel to cut the damn grill trim off? I'm never going to install the horrid silver.

What do you recommend I use to delete the engine warning lights?

I am not being funny but why keep the car if you have to spend that oind of money on a new car with low mileage? I had a vw golf petrol with 89k for 5 years or so and most i spent was 400 quid and that was for mot generally wear and tear. Really interested in knowing and awaiting your response

Ben, those door handle covers clip on and stay on without the need for the sticker tape. A bit late for you but helpful to others who may read this.

Installed mine yesterday. Looks great. Only downside is that they splitted the front and rear section in two pieces. Hopefully they will survive the german Autobahn and car wash ;-)

Why though? £70?? It's a massive faff. My husband wrapped the same piece on my 2020 Cooper S F56 in "Cadbury Purple" and it turned heads wherever I went. We did make a screw up ourselves as I thought I was buying the front grille surround cover that clipped/stuck un with 3D tabs in black (as my original was chrome) but we realised that we had purchased the ultimate faff, as in the whole surrounding cover which needed all the clips doing. I have since sold the 2020 Cooper S and I now have a 73 plate Cooper SE which I absolutely love. I have the level 3 but again, it had a chrome "mouth" which annoying me was the lci2 changeover and was a different shape so this time my husband has treated it with peelable paint which has done a cracking job. Will definitely use it again
