Looking so goooood!! And I just wanna say thank you for setting a great example of preparing properly before getting such an incredible animal that needs very specific care! Because it is so easy to impulse buy now a days it's awesome to see someone on KZbin be responsible and think about the animal needs before their own :D

Petko!!!! You should add a Tropical Pitcher Plant in the corck bark, instead of the vine. It not only is cool carnivorous plant, it is a natural kind of viney hanging type of plant. PLEASE PUT TROPICAL PITCHER PLANT

main issues with using those black shelving for cages with any moisture is they will soak up any water an when it does it will swell up an fall apart very rapidly an also the glues used to make the shelves from saw dust can be harmful to animals

Very nice enclosure. It will make a nice habitat for something.
@soasertsus6 жыл бұрын
It looks really awesome but you might have to change the mist nozzle position, my chameleon hates being sprayed directly and it looks like yours will usually sit on the branch where the mist is pointing. They usually are stressed by getting their body/face sprayed with water directly. Also, you might want to train him to drink from a water glass, it is more healthy than them licking water off leaves, because if they lick the same leaves a lot it can lead to bacteria buildup that can give him respiratory infection. With a glass he will always have fresh water and be able to drink as much as he wants. My panther chameleon doesn't need any mist anymore and drinks only from a glass and he gets plenty of water. Screwing a holder for a normal drinking glass onto the side wall in a lighted area he can reach from one of the branches is probably a good idea.

Petko please read this: remember you need ALOT of ventilation in your chameleon enclosure!!! full open front with gaze should be best IMO. Btw what kind of pantherchameleon are you going to get, i have male and female Nosy Faly, and i just love them, I even got one tatooed on me :)
@empireofthedead63416 жыл бұрын
i just want to say that most chams will need a full screen cage you may need to install fans. also the pump system you really need a few things to make it do all you want it to do 1st pressure tank, 2nd pressure switch, 3rd solenoid. i can explain more but its really just like a hydroponics system. oh and one last thing i have a 5gl bucket for my water and its not enough for my one enclosure and runs dry all time so maybe a shut off or they have things you can put in the water to let you know when its low
@SpunnerPL6 жыл бұрын
Petco you will have a serious problem with this MDF/OSB wooden wall, because they will split like you notice in the video. In my kitchen i have similar furniture made of the same stuff and they swell a bit in the area of the sink and heating plate. You will have a much bigger problem, not only in the camelion terrarium, but in the whole room i suppose, considering no door or direct ventilation to evacuate the humid air outside in the camelion terrarium. My advice will be a some sort of custom ventilation system to create negative pressure in terrarium and some sort of meshed door. Maybe to much, but mold and swelled, brand new furniture is not cool. Consider what i said. In the and, thanks for all you doing and greetings from Poland !(Sorry for my potato English :D)

Maybe I sound like an old grumpy man and dont believe in new materials, but wood and direct contact to dirt/substrate/water give me a lot nightmares.
