We have aluminum clamps like this on our hoop house.. they pop off in high winds as well. :(

What a pain! Are you going to try another mechanism for attaching it?

@@HacknBuild Nah.. there are enough of them on that when one pops off, the others continue to hold. I just throw it back on as it doesn't happen terribly often enough to do something about it. I considered using self-tapping screws that have a really flat head to secure the clamp to the pole (so that it doesn't rip the plastic when rolled up) but it hasn't annoyed me enough yet.
