Its amazing the places you can wake up at ... I remember doing a gig at the Jazz festival Montroe, Switz a few years back..... Arrived in the pitch black in the small hours, Parked in a layby, closed the truck curtains and went to dreamland...... In the morning I opened the curtains and was flabber gastered.... Id parked at the side of Lake Geneva with the snow topped Switz Alps as a back drop.. A delightful surprise and certainly a great place to have your morning coffee and brush ya teeth lol...... Spain looks awesome for wild camping and looking forward to see whats behind that gate mate ...... Keep on Trucking 📯📯✌

Great filming. The cuts, different angles, etc. Well done. Time to check out the results on @tcwildlifecam . I thought those spaghetti westerns were filmed in Italy. Very cool to see they filmed in Spain as well. Awesome set . You should make an ebook guide on how you plan your travel routes and find these places to stay. Say 30-60-90 day Expedition trip through Europe. How to explore off the beaten path for 20, 30 50 euros a day. Add some photos, spreadsheets, apps to use, forums, and a couple of affiliate links to stuff people might need or use. Put it on Gumtree etc for 2,99 or 4.99 etc and a link to it on all your videos and share in a ton of forums and groups. Thanks for sharing your journey 👍

Genuine question: me and my good lady are looking to upgrade from our self built XLWB Sprinter for extended trips/live in. Can’t afford something like your truck, so we are looking at buying a 7.5 ton box truck to build. My question is: how many times do you engage four wheel drive? I’m hoping not often, so a rear wheel drive will do! Thanks

Hi Dave. Firstly have you seen a video i put out 5 months ago (building a camper) this may help? Can I ask where are you planing on going in the camper? Visiting cities or visiting the national parks for instance?

@@Overlandtraveladventure Hi Dave - I’ll look into your earlier video. We aspire to do general travelling and more out of city than in. I’m nearly retired so we want to see lots and live life. My current build is more than ok for two week trips and can off grid for three/four days. Want to build something that can be used for two months or more and off grid for longer. I’ve convinced Samantha that a big rig (the concept I’ve sold is ‘studio flat on wheels’ 😁) is the way to go!

@@Magnificent729 okay lets say you’re heading into the hills.. are you a sun shine couple or do you like the odd winter holiday? as the parks and mountains are great but the weather can change over night!? I’d always recommend AT tyres for starters..

@@Overlandtraveladventure All season is the plan! Gravel capability but we’re not looking for true off road to take on the Sahara, Gobi or Kalahari!

@@Magnificent729 good tyres, 2wheel drive is okay but be wise on where you go, routes to and from park ups mixed with weather forecasts. I’d recommend carrying snow chains (for snow or mud)… maybe a winch back and front?
