I personally love these small cases and all most companties have to do is upgrade to 250-300 watt PSUs and update the front USB ports. I'm looking at building something for some light gaming and was just waiting for Ryzens new APUs to see which direction I'm gonna take. I may have to find some cases slightly bigger.

Hi, Thanks for watching. Yes I agree about the PSU especially for more demanding workloads and high end CPU's. I guess you could just upgrade them but then cost goes up. I think Inwin cases have some cases with gold rated PSU's but cost more. There are also some relatively small mATX cases now I think ASUS has one which definitely give more room for upgrades but obviously bigger than itx cases like this. I am also interested in seeing what the new Ryzen APU's bring and may even build another one, if that happens will definitely post another video. In the mean time, all the best, TK :).

if you take the outer cover of the CPU cooler off it should fit with no issues. I have the Chopin case and had to do that to get it to fit with the same cooler

Hi, Thanks for watching. I really appreciate your feedback as it might help others in the same situation. You are right it will probably work as this case is very similar to the inwin chopin, might have to try it at some point though I think I've become a bit lazy now that its all up and running :D. Thanks again, all the best, TK :).

Hi, Thanks for watching, glad you found it useful and appreciate your kind words and yes maybe an Inwin B1 (I believe this has better cooler clearance) or similar would be a better option if you don't want to hack cooler or case :).

Hi! Did you update your bios for this one? Was gonna get one for an arriving r5 5700x. was not sure if i need to get this mb or another
@TKsTechTalk Жыл бұрын
Hi, Thanks for watching. So for my motherboard I did not have to upgrade the bios as it must be from a new batch and already had a bios compatible with Ryzen 5000 series CPU, however it does have bios flash back (known as Q-Flash Bios Plus on gigabyte boards) and the bios can be updated before you install the CPU. I have a video of this process for x570i and I believe it will be similar for this board. I would recommend doing this before installing any components and if possible without installing in the case. Hope this helps, all the best, TK :).
