Next tank you should add 2 baffles for tank rigidity and to prevent sloshing of gasoline.

I will put foam in it if its going to be å problem 😄 but i didnt even think about it when i designed the tank.. 😅

looking good ,, one thing I would do when you get too the paint stage . is caulk the seams so you do not get water between your frame grid and your sheet metal ,, still too early too tell but I hope you put a skid plate of some kind under the gas tank .. so when your going over rough ground it don't bottom out and have a rock or tree root rip a hole in the tank .. thumbs up

@@vassdalencustom8689 love your work on the jeep. About galvanizing, I had a project galvanized 12 years ago and it’s holding up great. However, I used some 16 AWG sheet metal, which is about 1.5mm, and it warped somewhat from the heat of the galvanizing process. I’d hate to see your bodywork panels warp.

Starting to take shape! I think we’ll be going down the Jerry Can fuel tank route. Interested to see how you rig up the fuel pump/return etc. We Managed to get a 10l Jerry can that looks about scale, got the Willys type emblem on it too. More spurs at the rear body corners may have helped shape the bend without pulling out in, I’m sure you’ll figure it out. Can’t wait to see this thing finished!

Its the easiest way to go 👍🏻 the engine i use have a buld in mecanical fuelpump so i do just need 1 hose from the tank 😎 thank you! Is there coming more videos from you soon? 😁🙌🏻

@@vassdalencustom8689 Ah yes, I remember you saying about the built in fuel pump in an earlier episode. That makes things simpler. More coming from us soon, got new tyres on, hoping to get rear suspension sorted and begin the drive train shortly then get on to the bodywork, really useful to see how you are tackling it. The front cowl looked like the toughest part, but yours turned out sweet!

wouldnt you have been better making the wheel tubs first it may of give you better space rather than struggle to get round the rear panels. But bloody hell great job so far mate
