An LS, even with turbo's will probably have less power to weight that that thing, those marine engines are made with "limitless" cooling in mind, so it's got crazy power for it's size, and it weighs almost nothing

Higher revs on a jet boat is more important than power. I have bigger jet boat with a 3lt V6 engine but I'm looking to put a gearbox to up the jet revs for more speed.

love it... cut the hull of the ski up, way easier to remove. Also on my jetboat I extended the delta and the side plates past the transom. Adds more length and reduces wetted surface to increase speed... dont know if u need more speed with those beast of a motor, also works as a bottom brace to install a swim step that doubles as a pump protector. One other brilliant Idea I got from moto jet is align the stringers to add thickness inside the hull...when holes are drilled the are tapped into the stringer and eliminates through hole. eliminates a bunch of holes drilled through the boat. Your powerplant chose is on point and your wind shield is way sick....should of done that with mine. CANT WAIT TO SEE THE TEST!!!!!

SIKAFLEX!!! 🥰 As a career marine repair tech, I’ve shot a buncha tubes of that stuff! When you do decide to pull that thing back apart, you’ll bend the flange all to heck if you try to manhandle or pry it off. The trick is heat, Sika softens and breaks down under heat. 💪 stuff is freakin bulletproof otherwise!

I recommend you guys put two Rule (or other quality brand) bilge pumps in there ideally 3000 Gallons per hour+ hooked up to a separate battery. Because the jet boats don't have any buoyancy in the actual hull, once enough water gets inside you sink. So you want any water out of there ASAP. You want to mount one down low in the middle of the bilge at the stern/back of the boat and another higher up, that way only one turns on for small amounts and if you get loads in then the other kicks in If you're gonna be driving those boats like you drive your cars then you'll be getting loads of water inside 🤣 Loving the boat content 🤙🏻

Some techs @ Mercury Marine used to use a small wooden roller (used for wallpaper) and a cardboard pad to coat the roller. Then they would lay down a uniform coat of RTV on the joint to spread the RTV uniformly with little overage. Super clean gaskets and totally filled.

We here in the north coast in Canada have been enjoying finding a niche for ease of entry into 2 stage pump jet boating and making it approachable to a larger audience. My friend along with the local boating community has launched his first model for the watercraft community. The system works with 2 OEM seadoo pumps mainly the supercharged models and lets you link them together for a 2 stage system helping reduce cavitation and helps boaters navigate area with more water debris with increased performance. "Munster Canada" can be found online... Again it was very hard to decide whether to post this here but I see the passion Andrew has for his products and we are embarking on further explorations of finding innovative solutions for performance boats that comes back and support enthusiasts in our community. that cheap ass stainless stationary is hilarious.....need some silicon carbide/silicon carbide to deal with sand and silt crossing the faces. Its a shame the manufacturer used a 20 dollar seal with rubber bellows for the pump, of which they probably want 300 bucks for lol. Stainless potentially in sea water? lawl

It's hard to explain but those engines wouldn't last 5 mins in a go-cart because they are built to go fast in water so if you put it in a cart the engine would not be able to handle the

Dope this video came out today. I just got home from picking up an old waveraider 1100 triple a friend gave me for free. The hull and everything is mint for how old it is. The engine looks clean and was supposedly rebuilt so hopefully it runs. But definitely a good starting platform for a budget jetski.
