when you come to water test, get yourself a cheap fold up swimming pool, stick the boat in it fold the sides up and fill it up. You can leave it sitting there for as long as you like & if needed drain the pool quick if there is an issue.

I would of used checker plate for better grip or applied some self adhesive grip tape to the floor
