Sounds like a very angry hornet. Owned four of the original Mini Coopers while stationed in Italy. Those little cars could seat four adults comfortably. They stuck to the ground like glue. Each shift would pull your head back. I still kicked myself in the butt for not taking one home with me. Took a Porsche, so many issues to get it legalized, the Mini's were old enough I could have just drove off from the poort.

These things are amazing how is it that i had to look up “rally mini cooper” to get even one clip
Is that strange sound the anti lag? What else would it be called?
@nuibit88682 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I believe the raspy angry bees nest is the anti-lag. Other than that, it's the engine lol.

They’re all countryman models, my guess is due to the size requirements and packaging limitations

I think most WRC cars now are req to be 4-5door, or at least a lot of em are. only the R61, R/F60 and the new F54s came w Mini’s AWD system. there’s actually a 3 door ver of the Countryman called the Paceman (R61) but they were only made towards the end of the R generation (Mini has moved to the F gen as of 2015) and they didn’t make a lot of them. I see at least a dozen Mini’s of every kind ever day, and I can count the number of R61s I’ve seen on one hand. The R60 just makes more sense from a logistical standpoint. plus, they’re a lot smaller than they look, maybe only a little bigger than stuff like the Fiesta RS WRC or i20 WRC used in the high end WRC races. pics make the R60s seem huge, esp compared to its much smaller R56 (normal Mini) relative, but they’re actually quite small in person.
