Two tips: #1 To stop paint flaking off - As with all soft plastic figures, wash thoroughly before painting, then undercoat with undiluted PVA glue. You can add a small amount of coloured acrylic paint to see what has/has not been coated. The PVA will shrink and so will not obscure any detail. #2 Learn to love acrylic or oil washes. They’re the easiest way to add shadow and depth to your figures. I’m not a fan of 40K Warhmmer but Citadel’s Nuln Oil, Reikland Fleshshade and Agrax Earthshade are among the best products readily available.

Was disappointed by this pack. The shakos in particular are distinctly too small. I painted some up for use as an elite British regiment, the famous 52nd, but dislike them so much they’ll probably end up as Hanoverian militia. 🤣
