shout out to Matt Moore and Chad Henne, without those two filling in for #15 at crucial moments, KC might not make it to the Superbowls that they did: - 54: Moore helps KC beat Denver, play Green Bay close and beat the Vikings to go 2 out of 3 and help secure that top seed over New England. Didn't even look like he spent the last two years as a scout and HS football coach. - 55: Henne gets that crucial 4th down conversion vs Cleveland to move them onto Buffalo and then Tampa. - 57: Henne goes endzone to endzone for a Kelce TD catch when Mahomes was injured. glad those two vets closed their careers out with rings.

I grew up in Missouri and then lived elsewhere for a couple of decades post college for career moves. Permanent remote at my job allowed me to return home in 2022 and being back engrossed into the football culture again has been straight up magical. The chiefs are now entering Patriots territory as being the most despised club outside of Kansas and Missouri, but the haters just make it that much more satisfying IMO. With such a young club right now and the core returning I don't think the idea of a 3 peat is even remotely far fetched.

They’d arguably be the greatest dynasty in NFL history if they 3-peat. Never been done before, plus that’d be 4 SBs in 6 years, with 7 straight AFC championships. New England had around 10 years in between their 3rd and 4th SB victories. While NE would have more chips at that point, the Chiefs would have the more dominant run, with a great opportunity to get more rings. Many would probably disagree since they’d still only have 4 rings, but that would be an insane feat.

As a Chiefs fan who started watching this team back in 2007, week 8 against the Cincinnati Bengals, bearing witness to the next 5 seasons of below average to bad football culminating in 2012, to seeing Coach Reid come here with Alex Smith and bring winners to KC, and now Mahomes the 🐐 leading us to become a Super Bowl dynasty, I never would have believed this could happen all those years back. @KCFan-DJ2OK10 ай бұрын
@@Tay_Sports I really appreciate Alex Smith time here though, of course he was never going to be the guy to get us over the top, but he help the culture back in 2013 after we had the worst season in Chiefs history a year prior. His mentoring of rookie Patrick Mahomes was instrumental IMO to Mahomes being so great from the jump when he finally took over the team in 2018, I really believe if Patrick was just thrown out there as a rookie he wouldn't have come out lighting the world on fire because he didn't have his mechanics down, he couldn't read defenses at all, and he was a 100% gun slinger coming out of Texas Tech. Alex helped Patrick early on to find that middle ground between his own natural aggressiveness and playing it safe, that's why Mahomes has been so efficient in his career. The last 11 years of QB play has been good (Alex Smith) to now all-time great (Patrick Mahomes) and as a Chiefs fan I couldn't be more proud and excited about what else us we'll see going forward #HBTC #ChiefsKingdom

⚠️ Warning ⚠️ Doubting the Chiefs has been shown by the state of Missouri to carry the following side effects: 1. Winning seasons by the the Chiefs. 2. Lamar Hunt Trophies returned home. 3. Lombardi Trophies not seen by other NFL teams for years at a time. 4. MVP seasons for Chiefs QB's. 5. Super Bowl Rings given to Chiefs players during "rebuild" years. See your doctor if you experience any of the following: poor performance by other NFL teams, lost games by other AFC West teams, belief in other QB's being better and / or death of your teams payoff berth. The chiefs never seemed rattled despite laboring through the regular season, and going on the road to Buffalo and Baltimore. It really speaks volumes to their coaching and leadership. When you have Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid, you’ll have a chance to win. Also the defense was criminally underrated this year, largely due to having #15 on their team.

100%. They stayed focused and kept their poise. The only time I saw a crack in the armor was when Toney lined up offsides, Mahomes snapped a little bit. Great video. Had me in tears and love the timeline from the skeptics doubting Mahomes to some of the legendary playoff moments. I admit, I really sad when they got blown out against Brady's TB and then blew the game against Cincinnati in the AFC Championship the next year, but they have totally redeemed themselves in the past two years and put all that behind them. Anyhow, fabulous video!

Thank you so much! And I couldn’t agree more, that SB against Tampa still stings. But these past two SBs have been such a joy to witness. Last year I lost my voice for 3 days with all the cheering I did 😂

I loved everything about this video! I’ve watched it at least 5 times. It wasn’t dragged on the game footage was on point. From a lifelong chiefs fan it’s great to have our guys go on a run like this. If it ends tomorrow it was an amazing ride!! 3 peat!?

It's certainly looking like it. 7-0 at the time of this comment, and they look unbeatable. Their defense is serious

I felt that. Though I was raised in a Football household, I fell off around 2016 and only watched a handful of games a season. Mahomes and the Chiefs brought me back around 2019. I love this team and all the excitement they bring to the league

@Tay_Sports I feel like the chiefs brought football into a lot more households !, like em or hate em they are opening up the sport to a whole new level ! This year's super bowl 🏈 had the highest views compared to the moon landing ! That says something

My only regret is that my Grandaddy, life long Hawkeye fan, never got to see Patrick Mahomes play. He passed one year before we drafted the kid and I know he would have been amazed by what Patrick does.

Four SB visits in 5 years, winning three of them. 8 consecutive AFC Western Division winners and 6 straight years of playing in the AFC Championship game with the 1st five of those at Arrowhead. I think you call 'em a dynasty at this point. It looks like they have the best chance to Three-peat of any back to back winning team from any era. Barring injuries to key players - KC will become the first 3Peat SB winning team in league history.

Even though I’m a Niners fan, I respect the Chiefs. They are just a very good team. They are the current dynasty in the NFL.

One thing I enjoy most of all is all the hate these Patriots fans gave to KC when I watched the Chiefs play at Gillette Stadium before the game started. It was nice giving them the dose of their own medicine with no spygate and no deflategate just pure awesome football playing from a legendary team who knows how to win. I travel for a living and I enjoy letting everyone know on my travels that they need to work on their coping skills and deal with the fact KC is the best team in the league for awhile now and we got more Super Bowls to win and more records for Mahomes to break.

Great vid. The one thing that is surprising is the latest Superbowl on has 1 minute out of 24? And part of that is the celebration. Expecting more of Super Bowl 58. Still good, though.
@Tay_Sports10 ай бұрын
Unfortunately, none of the mic’d up or cinematic clips were released by the NFL when I made this. I would’ve loved to capture some more of the latest Super Bowl but it would’ve tanked the overall quality of the video. Thank you though, I hope you enjoyed it!

Chiefs fan since I was 13 in 1990. My 1st GM @Arrowhead early December1990. I watched Steve DeBeg&Chiefs BEAT John Elway&Broncos. Been HOOKED EVER SINCE! Been least +40 Games @Arrowhead Stadium. I'm (2-0) attending Chiefs Playoffs/// 1. 1991 WC Rd. Chiefs beat Raiders in a Snow Storm. Lol..Todd Maranovich started QB for Raiders that day. 2. 2018 Season AFC Div Rd. Chiefs beat Colts. In a Snow Storm. It was Mahomes 1st Playoff W and Kansas City Chiefs FIRST HOME Playoff W since like 1995
