Wow, don’t asked to be the most difficult water pump thermostat replacement I’ve ever contemplated. It’s almost enough to make you not want to buy a car that needs one. I wonder how much independent shops charge for this?

Glad I own old cars..... lol water pump removal is. Remove fan... Belts now remove pump and replace...

What’s the point of the bleeding screw if it’s never used? You don’t open that during the second step with the coolant system bleeding and how do you know when that fuel pump clearing 12 minutes is done?

This video is incredibly inaccurate. Im assuming the Engine mount was disconnected to gain access to the belt tensioner, but that was never mentioned,... By the time they tell you they removed the radiator to make it easier for them, youve already got half the car apart.... Do yourselves a favor and dont use this as a guide because youll end up getting screwed...

Was thinking in doing a coolant flush for my 2016 R55, but now concern about this extra bleed procedure 14:36. Is this extra procedure only for the 2.0 or for all the models?

The extra bleeding procedure is necessary on 2.0 litre petrol models, and diesel models.
