I would think a spring steelie on a bright day would take it! Excellent Matt.

Hello Matt. Nice looking fly that would work well in several color combinations. I am sure some SMB's would kill it also. I am looking forward to leaving Texas for another summer in your neighborhood. See you at the shop.

Do you know about how many flies you could tie starting with a fresh pack of each material?

how do you dub so fast and well? is it the material or do you have super moist sticky fingers? hah, it takes me so long to get a good dubbing noodle I tend to just make dubbing loops for everything.

😂 too funny! Just lots of practice I guess... been toying with the idea of a dubbing video. After teaching intro classes for a few years it's definitely a challenge for lots of tyers. Thread tension + correct quantity of material + application pressure... Dubbing loop is a great way to go when noodles slow you down though!
