Mini Pumpkin - How to Crochet

In today's tutorial I show you how to crochet my teeny tiny mini pumpkin from my recent Instagram Live Lesson. Such a quick pattern and perfect for beginner crocheters to try. Orange: 1. Magic circle, chain one, insert 8 single crochet in middle, slip stitch and chain one (8) 2. Two single crochet in each stitch around (16) slip stitch and chain one. 3. 1 single crochet in each stitch around (16) FOUR ROUNDS. 4. 5. 6. (16) 7. Single crochet 2 stitches together (8) 8. Fasten off, leave a long tail. 9. Stuff pumpkin. 10. Drawstring close. 11. Through middle shape pumpkin 5 times. Green yarn Slip know, chain 4. 1st chain - 2 single crochet 2 single crochet in next 2 chains

Just to adorable. Thank you for sharing. Can't wait to make some to give as "Just Because I Love You Little's". You can keep them in your bag or purse and every so often when you go through your bag you run into the little pumpkin's/which ever little you have gifted and have your little memories of the special person who gave it to you. 🧡 I also make different ones for the season's and keep them in a sensory box. They are sweet. 🧡

Laura, everyone, this is such a funny request and may not be Laura´s style, but . . . I would very much like to crochet a water bottle holder, because as a woman, I, rather we, are not allowed to have pockets in our clothes . . .thus one must juggle keys, hats, gloves, sunglasses (and reading glasses for the more mature amongst us), AND the water bottle when setting out on even the shortest walk. A water bottle holder/net with a solid bottom, or maybe even hand sewing a pocket onto the water bottle net might be just what the walking person needs. To be clear, the reason I am asking Laura to consider designing, and ONLY if she is interested (I expect nothing), is that I have dyscalculia, which is essentially dyslexia in relation to maths and symbols (phonetic alphabets and hieroglyphs are beyond my capabilities) and even the concept of time. Thus planning the stitches is quite beyond my capabilities as well, and Laura is so very good at planning patterns. Apologies for the excess of information. But then, if mentioning dyscalculia causes anyone else to feel relieved that others admit/don´t hide/aren´t ashamed of their maths disability, then I am absolutely not sorry for my excess. I am, naturally, ashamed of my maths problems, yet hoping brining it up makes someone else see just how silly it is to be embarrassed by that which we were born with and obviously would not have chosen. End of life story and public service announcement. Hope that Laura, or any of you, will design a pattern, is ongoing. Cheers, and tusen takk!

When you say you can replace the beginning do I make 4 single crochetes in the magic circle and then do two in each, or do I go straight to 8 in the ring?

8 in the ring, so if you chain 4, slip stitch in first chain to form a loop, crochet the 8sc straight away 👍
