Mini Crochet Doughnut

Today we continue with my mini food series with tiny doughnuts! This was such a fun project to design because I wanted to create a doughnut (or donut) that looked the part but was also easy to crochet, stuff and sew. This was the perfect end result and I hope you enjoy making these cute crochet doughnuts as much as I enjoyed designing them!

I think it would be great to make a 3 x 3 grid "board" and several donuts with two different colors of icing and use them for tic-tac-toe. Or if one is especially ambitious, make enough for checkers and a large board. I think the kids would really love it.

12:20 Thanks for the pattern. I’ve been looking for a way to make an amigurumi half circle “donut” looking thing. I’m experimenting to see if there’s a way I can crochet something like a 3 ring binder were the 3 rings can open and close without having to use any other items and only use yarn.
