1. You played the Priestess' blessing correctly (BGG thread titled "Priestess - Blessing Ability Question") 2. When you would lose something and you don't have it, you lose health. So the first floor Trap that blinded you and made you lose 1 armor would have damaged you, as well as taking more damge from the XP-stealing Ghoul. 3. When you fight, you roll the full dice pool all at once, so you can see what the monster will do before you make your decisions about feats and potions.

Thanks for the corrections!

Yeah rolling the full dice pool changes up combat.

So if you roll all the die and you roll a critical then roll the white die again and slay the monster does the black die still affect you? Do you resolve the effects and take whatever damage
@Boomtron Жыл бұрын
@@Ihayden No, the Monster does not attack you back if you kill it. Page 10-11 of the rules lays out the combat steps clearly.

At 9:52 he rolled a 2, hit two damage and then hit 3 more after a feat. Is this the correct way of using a feat or should we stick with the second roll number only before decreasing opponent's hp?

This is one of my absolute favorites. The free PnP is even great and has a ton of gameplay for a 9 card microgame. This was one of the few Kickstarters I went "all in" on and can't wait for the expansion that's supposed to launch soon.

16:27 - You wish 6 and you got 6 (4+2). "Ask and you shall receive." 16:58 - you didn't roll for reward - you had 16% chance to roll 4 for a Healing Potion and survive the starving.
@OneStopCoopShop Жыл бұрын
Oh crud, I didn't even think of the small chance for a healing potion! Though with my cursed rolling this whole playthrough, it seems unlikely :)

@@OneStopCoopShop True, you've played great, but the locations and rolls were definitely unlucky.

I definitely enjoy this one for what it is and how fast it plays. A major gripe of mine is not having the double thick tracker boards that the Kickstarter got. This is one of those games that even a small table bump can drastically ruin a game and should have really been standard for the entire release.

Agreed. I felt the same about terraforming mars: ares expedition (though I think the upcoming expansion for that one adds the dual layer back in)
@sirphobos8494 Жыл бұрын
@@OneStopCoopShop lol the original terraforming mars was the first game I always think of when it comes to double layer player boards being necessary

Nice video, I am going to buy this game. However, I still don't understand the "Ghost" card beneath your character card. In the overview you don't explain it and in the playthrough I watched your super quick explanation a few times but I still don't understand it. Can you or someone else explain the function of this card?
@OneStopCoopShop Жыл бұрын
It's a reference card. Some card effects will cause you to fight a ghost, and that card has its stats for combat.
@Morgansmith-sq6fr8 ай бұрын
You know how you rolled a 4 when it was the ghouls turn to attack how come he only did 1 damage to you? I thought he did the damage you rolled lol. Im planning in buying this as its similar to iron helm and its obviously a more affordable alternative
@OneStopCoopShop8 ай бұрын
The ghoul’s damage value at that level is 1, so he only does 1 damage with each attack. On a 2-5 roll it is not armor-piercing, and on a 6 roll it IS armor piercing.

Uh, I really like this one. Lots of replayability in a tiny package.

It’s definitely a quick and wild ride

What's better between this game and one deck dungeon?
@OneStopCoopShop Жыл бұрын
Depends on what you are looking for. Mini Rogue is much faster, if you only have 15-20 minutes for a game. It’s also much more on the rails, with dice determining your fate. And it can often be too easy in the end (this playthrough notwithstanding). One deck dungeon takes longer, but also has a lot more tactics and strategy in the dice manipulation and combos (though it is still a dice game, so a bad roll can still ruin your day). For my tastes I much prefer one deck dungeon.
@alessandrorocchini1324 Жыл бұрын
I don't agree on the game being too dependent on the dices: in my experience the win rate improves as you play more and more games! This time game gives you more agency than you may think at first :) unfortunately most reviewers don't play it enough so this aspect is rarely conveyed

@@OneStopCoopShop thanks. From your explanation I think I would enjoy one deck dungeon more.
