Is it just me, or are there fewer parts than before? I mean Yeah in the 90's early 2000 we was using mesh in vent spaces or as windshields to lighten and to keep batteries and motors cool but now it's tuff to find a lot of parts or maybe I don't know where to look just getting back into the hobby my first mini I had was back in the 80's but it disappeared until 90's and disappeared again I'm glad to see it alive and well

Hello z3n bluster I had a a couple questions about your previous video. What parts do you need to build with the mill. What website do you get your parts from? Can you do a video on how to build that car or is it a secret for you? Also is there any prize for the Japan cup that you won. Thank you
@Z3NBluster6 жыл бұрын
+SR#10 Official You just asked four questions on one comment. For the mill, get the good Proxxon vise and buy some endmill carbide bits with 1/8 Shank. I buy my parts locally from DXN Provisions. Yes I can. I did not win the Japan Cup. I only won one round. Winning one round gets you nothing. Winning a Japan Cup will get you a Trophy, an entry into the Champions Race at the end of the year, and HONOR.

Is the build meant for Speed race or technical ? Thank you for the amazing videos! They are very informative. Any suggestion for forums to follow or reddits?
@Z3NBluster6 жыл бұрын
This build is designed for Tuned Class which is popular here in the States. Limited to Tuned Motors Torque Tuned, Atomic Tuned, and Rev Tuned variations only. Wheel Piercing is allowed. Body design cutting is allowed. But no cutting is allowed for any other part. Due to the limit of the speed of the motors generally they are Technical in terms of how fast they run. Will require further upgrades like a front and back brake setup for Speed Technical tracks. Definitely not a, "Speed Race," setup if what you mean by that is a track that has no jumps.

Thank you for the tips sir! Though I noticed on my build that my rear wheels are not free-wheeling unlike the front when I put in washers beside the pink gear. I already applied grease or oil but still the same. Hope you can give me advice! Thanks!
@Z3NBluster5 жыл бұрын
Something must be too tight somewhere. Check to see if you have a gear that isn't straight or if your washer is too tight on the gear. If that's not it. Check how straight your shaft is. If that isn't it, check if your wheels are bent/crooked.

The older versions of the 94389 have a metal race inside the bearing. The newer ones have a plastic race so they wear out. The old ones last for a very long time in comparison.

Aye man great fan of your vids. I have a question for this build. What would be the most powerful motor that this setup can handle as it is? Thanks in advance.

nerbs Hyper Dash Pro. If your transmission turned out well, that is the limit. You may need to figure out how to mount brakes at the front.
@nerbs61256 жыл бұрын
would the motor still be running at optimal levels at default 3.5 gear ration with 26mm tires? or would it be better to change to a 4:1 and large diameter tires for a hyper dash pro motor? Thanks man! really interested in upgrade my stock setup.
@Z3NBluster6 жыл бұрын
nerbs I am not entire sure I understand what you're asking because you didn't list complete information. I'm assuming you still want to adhere to Tuned Class Rules which mean no cutting or trimming tires. So you want to convert from Medium Untrimmed to 3.5:1 which is pretty much 26mm, into Large Diameter Untrimmed 4:1. No, I do not recommend going 4:1 and changing to Large Diameter Untrimmed. The taller the tires, the less balanced you car will be, the higher the center of gravity is. I recommend sticking to medium diameter 3.5:1 like I have outlined in the parts section of this video.
@nerbs61256 жыл бұрын
actually yeah you hit it right off the bat! sorry! still a bit green when it comes to tuned cars. Will definitely take this info into account when I upgrade mine which im probably gonna pattern closely to the build on the video. Thanks!
@Z3NBluster6 жыл бұрын
nerbs Don't worry about the motor. The reason why motors would have issues with gear ratio is because of torque. The lower the gear ratio, ie 3.5:1. The hard the motor will work. But if you convert that to 4:1 with a larger diameter wheel. It's basically the same. Despite the fact you're using 4:1, a higher gear ratio. It doesn't really make much of a difference because now you're intending to spin Large Diameter Wheels. So you're intended result of minimizing work for the motor, doesn't do anything.

how is that a transmission
@Z3NBluster5 жыл бұрын
A transmission is a machine in a power transmission system, which provides controlled application of the power. Often the term transmission refers simply to the gearbox that uses gears and gear trains to provide speed and torque conversions from a rotating power source to another device. So in essence the pinion gears attached to both ends of the motor transmit power to the counter gears, which in turn transmit power to the spur gears attached to the shafts that drive the wheels.
