Auldey made some pretty good 4wd's, one I owned had a little switch on the bottom which would let you change the motor and mount straight away without removing the body. The motors in the box also went 25000 without any work on them. The Chassis on any car was always incredibly durable too, surviving flying off the track and running into a wall at full speed. The only problem was that parts weren't available all the time except for tires and rollers.

Blast Arrow Clear Blue Special. And no, that wasn't my car. I was racing my friend's car. Should've put my fast stock motor in it. I forgot to do that, lol.

Unfortunately the motor that my friend used in the Box Stock car he asked me to race for him has not had any break-in. I had 1 Double Shaft Stock motor that was pretty fast after I had done Break-In. I could have used that to make his car faster.

+Andre Go No I do not. There are plenty of videos in KZbin that already show how to break-in a motor. Making a video seems like a waste of time, unless a lot of people ask me to make it. But then, I don't do anything special for my break-in anyway.

michael john Soriano Actually Hindi ako naka race ng sarili ko na kotse say high speed. Nag race ako earlier that day sa Open Class Technical na category. Hindi konkasi Alam na may high speed pala nung are na Yun. Pero Ang mga high speed category dito sa video at Box Stock, Tuned Class, Open Class. And may 8-roller high speed class din. Yun Yung may kotse na lumipad at pumunta sa parking lot.

Technically, there are only two categories. Which is really only determined by the track. For a track to be "High Speed" it means there are not jumps of any kind. The only thing you have to worry about is the lanechange. The other category is Tehnical. FOr a track to be "Tehnical" it usually contains some form of jump or slopes. Here in the states there are sub categories that fall within each track, which all follow the same Tamiya Rules. Modified - Any Tamiya Motor Tuned - "Tuned" Tamiya Motors Only Super Stock - Tamiya Stock Motors Only So in essence there can be High Speed Modified, Technical Modified, High Speed Tuned, Technical Tuned, High Speed Super Stock, ETC......

These are the most prevalent categories in the States. Bear in mind, not every hobby shop or country will have the exact same rules as we do. It is best to check with your local race organizers and ask them directly. What we do here in the States do not always apply to other countries.

so no cross box and the motor also stock???..... similiar with in indonesia we have a stock car race but we can cross box so you can mix with other part but only with part which came with the kit only for example i use brocken gigant but for the bearing/gear/wheels/tire i got it from Aero Avante and the roller from Fire Dragon. we call it STB class

+charlie paul tompodung No part mixing allowed at all. Only if you have a broken part. You have to replace it with same type part. If you have the wrong color, it's okay as long is as its the same mold. Motors, if you have a strong motor, you are allowed to put it in your box stock. As long as it's not opened and must be White Endbell.

Depends on the category. Box Stock: Stock Motor, Tuned Class: Torque Tuned 2, Open Class: Jet Dash or Ultra Dash. No rewind motors allowed and only Tamiya motors.

Jayson Tan Stock means, out of the box with no upgrade parts. Making it fast would require you to make sure your transmission is smooth. Best way to find out if your transmission is smooth, is to your car. If your car is noisy when you turn it on, it will be slow likely due to friction in the transmission. If your car is very quiet, it should be fast. Friction is the enemy of power, the less friction in your transmission, the faster your car will be.

I race in the States, your "Box Stock" rules is probably different from our rules here. If possible, ask for a complete official list of rules from the organizer. That will prevent any confusion.

Nasa SoCal kami. This race was at Ultimate Hobbies from two years ago, theyre still racing during the 1st and 3rd Satruday of the month. We also have DXN Provisions at Arcadia now. They race during the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month and some Friday Nights as well. There is also another shop called PCHobbies but I dont k ow what their race schedule is like.

It's all about the transmission on High Speed and Motor Output. Make sure your transmission isn't going to hold your motor back and that you break-in your motor well.
