My f56 doesn’t look the same, do I just stick it over the cooper s one? Mine is all plastic with brushed metal.

@@anonymoususer201 I finally put it on top of the existing one like the instructions said in mine and it looks and works fine 👍😃 They must of changed the instructions or procedure sometime. But yeah for my 2023 you just plop it on top of the other 👍 hope that helps 😉

If you turn the overhead light switch position from "DOOR" to "OFF" will that also turn off the sill illumination? I"m wondering in case I want to keep the door open for an extended time but don't want any lights draining the battery.

DrewVan Media do you buy new watch Everytime your battery dies on it? You just replace the battery and the washer, same way, replace battery and the 2-way adhesive sticker on these door sills..!

Well the battery looks like it is built into the sill and not replaceable from what I could tell... :-( I would hope I'm wrong as that would be a big waste of money!

You probably already know the answer but.. before you install you probably should put in 2 fresh 2430 size batteries and then if they die over time you lift the sill up just like removing the old sill and there's two battery covers you pop off... pretty simple.
