Super fun to watch. It is interesting how the sock journey progresses. Now I only knit heel flap and gusset, so much easier to put on and more comfortable to wear. 🇬🇧

Oh my goodness, Nancy, you have knit a LOT of socks and to think of how many you have knit for family and friends- mind boggling and very fun to watch you sort them all. I am just a rookie, by comparison-65 years of knitting, but started socks in 2020, so still learning. Gonna make your new DK pattern for my BIL’s birthday socks (yes, only been making socks for a few years and my BIL wants a pair for every birthday and Christmas -very knitworthy-the first pair I made him he SLEPT in them and wore them every day for a week- lol)

I loved, loved, loved seeing all your socks. I, pretty much, launder my socks the same way you do. The one little thing I do differently, is that I put the socks into nylong mesh laundry bags before I put them in the washing machine to keep them from stretching if they get caught up in the laundry cycle. I put about five to seven pair in a bag at a time
