Thankyou for this video. I had a TIA a couple of years ago. The hospital didn’t explain it to me as well as you just have. Keep up the good work. I watch all your videos.

Very useful I didn’t know the terminology that stroke= brain injury and not stroke = symptoms.

I had a small stroke and I can't talk to anyone now. But I can read a book out loud fine. What's going on?

Hello Dr. Carlo, what are the symptoms of cerebral vasoconstriction if it didn't present with headaches? (R.C.V.S.).

Can your primary care overlook a stroke if the only lasting symptoms are headaches, personality change, and confusion? I had really bad black mold exposure (also had another doctor tell me my chance of stroke was 40% higher than most). I felt like part of my brain died after got this really, really bad headache that lasted for days. I couldn’t think properly. None of my family knew what to do and just thought I was having a panic attack. I did have numbness in my arm but don’t remember a full on face droop. Just severe pain and confusion. I still don’t remember like huge chunks of my life and feel like a different person than before this event. I don’t act the same or like the same things. My head still hurts on the left side. I gave up on doctors because they just wanted to put me on meds for anxiety…which don’t help me.

I've had several strokes. I. Had an undiscovered hole in my heart since I was born. It gave me all he strokes, finally somebody listened to my heart and not my lungs, I heard once approx one out of four have a hole in their heart. Statistically. had so many strokes I shouldn't be alive. I had three little ones before I got the others. I say go have them really really listen to your hear for an irregularity. I've been told a good nurse can hear it. I hear poorly and I could hear a friends heart problem. He even told me I wash the first one to have noticed it. For about 30 years no one caught it.

A few months ago I had a lacunar (spelling?) stroke which showed on an MRI. It only mildly affected my right arm and right leg. I was hospitalized overnight to complete tests. All my symptoms went away within 2 days. I was very lucky. I tell people who ask that I had a mild stroke. Is that accurate?
