Ok, so speaking as someone who has used all three. Leatherman & Victorinox Farmer: Anything above 1" diameter you should cut around, not directly through. That maximises the number of teeth per cut. Pocket Chainsaw: These come into their own on larger logs. They ain't really effective on small diameter branches, because you need to be able to get the maximum number of teeth to engage.

On your wire saw put a stick in it and make a bow saw
