Mini Twist Routine

In this video I will be sharing how I refresh my mini twist. I usually wear the twist for about two weeks before redoing them. This process can take me about 3-5 hour. Hopefully this video clearly explains my process.

I am on a mini twist journey too❣️ Mt routine is basically the same with a few differences. •I clay wash with my DIY mix •I rarely deep condition but if I do I use an Ayurvedic DIY conditioner mix •Aloe vera water for leave in •Amla castor oil and butter mix to seal ends •Seal everything in with Flax seed gel I've been going 4 weeks before washing lately as well cause life be lifing😂

2023 is the year of my mini twist journey. I’ve been doing them for years but this year i plan to only do mini twists, blow outs, and roller sets all year…no knotless, no new styles. 2-4 weeks in between washes, and just keep my routine simple. Looking forward to learning for your videos!

I’m so glad you showed this routine! I never thought to keep my hair in the smaller twists while washing. I get a lot of tangles and breakage so I think trying this will really help me!

Love YOUR channel. You're very easy to listen to, there's no loud music & your tips & suggestions are definitely something I'd consider. My hair is super curly kinky & the shrinkage is real, you'd never know I have waist length hair. My shred hair is about the same if not more, but to me it's normal. I use the LOC or LCO methods. Oh! To keep my wet, deep conditioning hair from dripping everywhere and wetting everything up, I've used shower caps or plastic bags over my head and under my turbi twist, towel, hat, scarf or bonnet.

Oh my Gawd!!! I shed a hella lot of hair too. I'm glad I'm not the only one. I always panic and will even take pictures of my ball of hair every time before throwing it away. I try to think my hairball is big because it's curly and long... so it just looks like a lot of hair . Thanks for your videos they are very informing .New subby! 😊

I love your mini twists! I get a lot of shed hair too no matter what I do. At this point its normal. I also feel like if you have thick hair strands like me, it will look like more hair than it actually is.

Appreciate that she’s hair part because that’s me and I’ve never really been bald or had thin hair, but I am starting to look into breakage and make adjustments to keep retention but I be having baby wigs too girl 😂

My exact routine currently for the past few months. Lol. I change up my parts now and again. Yep. Wash condition moisturize twist wear for up to two weeks then repeat. I have been maintaining so much length because of this.

Hi, i really appreciate thé fact that you show how much shade you have. I think when you have a lot off hair, long hair, thick hair... And a protective style it's normal to have shading. We loose hair every single day normaly.

Your hair is beautiful. Commercial Conditioners can contribute in your significant shedding in a big way... because they have certain chemicals and ingredience in them to soften the hair. Your hair is lovely and its thriving. keep up the good work.

sometimes gotta consider the length of the hair after detangling.The longer it gets..the bigger the hair ball will look vs shorter hair with around same amount of shedding+ Keeping that mind cuz sometimes I do be forgetting 🤣

I always lose a lot of hair but never really think anything of it. I’ve seen other peoples videos and they literally count the strands. If only two had two stands of shed hair then I might be concerned. Thanks for watching! 😊

Thank you! I have taken vitamins on and off. I don’t think my shedding is abnormal. I don’t comb my hair everyday so I feel like the shed hair just kind of builds up. At this point I’m not too worried about it 😊
