I have a question: What is your hair porosity? Because for me, my hair became flaky two days after my wash day. I used shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner, with warm-almost hot water and cremé pudding from the Aussie Miracle brand (to act as a leave-in). My hair porosity is low.

I think am low porosity but that shouldn’t matter. Is your hair flaky or is it your scalp?

Okay; I only asked about your hair porosity because it does help us figure out how easily does our hair takes in (and holds onto) moisture. I saw how your routine works for you (and mini twists work for me as well) so that made me wonder about your hair porosity. My hair is flaky, though my scalp (in the middle front part) is also a little bit flaky. I'm sure it's just that either (1) I should've used just deep conditioner instead of adding conditioner. (2) stick to leave-in detailing milk instead of using cremé pudding. Or (3) use the hairitage brand instead altogether.

I have low density hair as well. I have learned how to use minimal products so it won’t weigh my hair down. And I put my mini twists in a single braid with a hair clip so that it looks like a large braid. I have had to figure out what works with my low density hair. I also have had to learn how to appreciate my hair; my hair fell out from me trying so many Ayurvedic ingredients that KZbinrs recommend. So I need to appreciate the hair that I have.
