I've seen people use the banding method on their twists to stretch them. I think blow dryer on low while applying tension helps as well.

Try to twist ur hair when its stretched and don’t spritz too much water

Autrela Prime I moisturize my hair then plait it to stretch it out, then once my hair dries I twist it

Spray them, put it in a tight ponytail as it dries and they will stretch overnight

I love your twists 😍 I do this to my daughter8s hair and it is the best at promoting growth and. I absolutely love it... I can’t wait to religiously twist my hair as I have done for my child. This hair style is something I learned from another mom whose daughter’s hair was past her waist and super healthy... I hope to do this consistently for myself as I have for my child. That's how I'm feeling with my hair... very lazy. lol It's grown a lot though. I trimmed my hair for the second time in my life about a month ago. But tomorrow, I'm thinking about doing some mini twists in my hair too. When I usually try to do them, they come out crazy because I don't take my time. But I'm gonna try and take my time tomorrow.

michanforever sewing as how you can wash your hair with the twists in it it’s really up to you. as long as your staying on top of moisture and shampooing, you can leave them for as long as they still look good (not super frizzy, new growth). i’d probably go for 3 weeks cuz that’s how long it take for my hair to start looking a mess, if i’m consistently wearing my bonnet lmao

If you damp it with water then tie it down in the direction you want it to lay or dampen it then style it... that usually helps
